Welcome to Natural and Wild Wonders, an online learning space rooted in science, nature, and simple practices that bring nourishment, resilience, and connection back into daily life.

Here, learning isn’t about hustle or perfection. It’s about slowing down, understanding the natural world, and building skills that care for your body, your home, and the planet.

Modern life often pulls us away from the rhythms that once kept us grounded—growing food, making bread, observing seasons, and understanding how natural systems work.

Natural and Wild Wonders exists to bring those rhythms back.

Through thoughtful, science-informed courses, students learn healing hobbies that:

  • reduce stress and anxiety
  • build self-sufficiency and confidence
  • reconnect us to the living systems that sustain us

About the Creator

Natural and Wild Wonders was created by a science educator with a deep love for the natural world and a belief that learning should feel supportive, empowering, and restorative (for both student and teacher).

Each course is designed to honor both scientific understanding and human well-being—because the two are deeply connected.

Hi, I’m Stephanie, the creator of Natural and Wild Wonders.

I’m a veteran science teacher, trained environmental scientist, and naturalist who believes that learning should feel nourishing—not overwhelming. After years in the classroom and outdoors, I created this online school to share healing, hands-on skills rooted in science, nature, and slow, intentional living.

Natural and Wild Wonders offers courses that reconnect learners with the systems that sustain us—soil, plants, microbes, seasons, and food. Through subjects like sourdough baking and vegetable gardening, students learn not just how to do something, but why it works, building confidence, curiosity, and care for the Earth along the way.

I grew up on an avocado farm near Everglades National Park, where my love for environmental stewardship started. Today, I teach middle school Earth Space Science and high school Environmental Science, and I continue to learn alongside my students—whether in the garden, the kitchen, or the natural world.

This school is an invitation to slow down, learn deeply, and cultivate skills that sustain both people and planet.
